Building Thinking Classrooms Summer Conference
Q: How do I register for the summer BTC conference?

Registration for the June 30th Pre-conference session will be $125. This session will be facilitated by 2 members of the BTC team!!!
Registration for July 1st and 2nd will be $525. These will be 2 full days of BTC sessions with plenty of opportunities for learning with Peter Liljedahl and his remarkable team! A full breakfast and lunch will be provided on Monday and Tuesday during the conference.
Q: What are the accommodations for the conference?
A: Hotel Accommodations:
The Arizona Biltmore is less than 20 minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor airport. It is a beautiful historic resort with an amazing conference space! The resort has stunning hotel rooms and suites. We are so excited to get a conference rate starting at $159 a night (plus applicable taxes and fees). The conference room rate will be available for a few days before and after the conference as well if you would like to relax and vacation a little while you are here.

Local Attendees:
The Arizona Biltmore has free covered parking available for all conference attendees. The parking garage is located directly next to the conference center.
Q: How do I submit a proposal to present to the BTC conference?
A: Please consider submitting a proposal to present during the conference. If you are selected, a link for a discounted registration will be included in the acceptance letter. Proposals are due by February 14, 2024. Notification of acceptance is anticipated by the end of February.

Q: Do presenters get a discount for the conference?
A: Yes, we have held spots for the presenters, so space won’t run out. Selected presenters will receive a link to discounted registration with their acceptance letter.
Q: Will all of the workshops focus on math, or will there be workshops for implementing thinking classrooms for language arts, social studies, etc?
A: We do have other content areas in the request for proposal so we are hoping to get some sessions that are not specific to math!
Q: My organization will be paying for registrations by invoice with a PO, who should the payment be sent to?
